An exceptional achievement for Dutch filmmakers! I'm Not a Robot won the Oscar for Best Live-Action Short. This short film manages to impress with a compelling story. The short movie is about Lara, a music producer, who finds herself in crisis when she repeatedly fails a CAPTCHA test. This makes her wonder if she might actually be a robot.

Anora

This compelling drama film was the big winner of the evening. The film won no fewer than five Oscars:

Best actress - Mikey Madison
Best director - Sean Baker
Best editing
Best original screenplay

The film, which was released last October, tells the story of a young woman named Anora. Anora is a young woman trying to find her way in a world full of challenges, especially in the area of love. You can now watch the film in the cinema and on Pathé thuis!

Emilia Pérez

With no fewer than 13 nominations, Emilia Pérez was one of the biggest contenders. In the end they won two Oscars for:

Best supporting actress - Zoô Saldaña
Best original song - "El Mal"

Wicked

Everyone knows it: the Broadway musical Wicked, but now the film is also hugely popular. The film adaptation was nominated for 10 categories and won two, namely:

Best production design
Best costume design

The Brutalist
