Required Education

For the position of Radiologic Technologist, you need an HBO education in Medical Imaging and Radiotherapeutic Techniques (MBRT). To be admitted to this HBO program, you need a HAVO or VWO diploma, preferably with the Nature & Health (N&G) profile. Subjects such as mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology are essential for this education and profession. A formal HBO education is mandatory, as this is a protected professional title where you must be registered in the BIG register (Professions in Individual Healthcare).
