What will you learn?

(Human Resource Management) In the AD Human Resource Management program, you develop yourself into a practical HR professional who can be directly deployed in the job market. You learn concrete skills such as conducting job interviews, drafting employment contracts, guiding employees in their development, and implementing HR policy. Subjects like labor law, organizational psychology, recruitment & selection, workforce planning, and communication form the foundation of your education. Additionally, you receive training in digital HR systems and learn to work with data analysis for personnel management. What makes this AD unique compared to a full bachelor's degree is the strong practical orientation and faster entry into the job market. You gain extensive internship experience at various organizations, work on real-life projects such as creating job profiles, and participate in personnel interview simulations. This program is perfect for you if you enjoy working with people, are interested in organizations, and want to quickly start working as an HR employee without studying for four years.

Required Education

For admission to the AD Human Resource Management program, you need at least an MBO level 4 diploma in a relevant field such as economics, business administration, or commerce, or a HAVO diploma. The Culture & Society (C&M) profile fits best with this program because subjects like social studies, history, and economics are directly relevant for understanding labor relations and organizational cultures. Economics & Society (E&M) is also excellently suited due to the economic and business foundation. In secondary school, especially Dutch, economics, and social studies are important subjects, because you need to write extensively, understand business processes, and have insight into societal developments. There are no specific admission requirements or tests required, but some universities of applied sciences do conduct an intake interview to assess your motivation. As alternative admission, you can also be admitted with an MBO level 3 diploma plus relevant work experience in a commercial or administrative function, or through a 21+ test if you don't have a suitable diploma but do have work experience.
