The most fun barefoot trails in the Netherlands

You usually walk on shoes, but it can also be done differently. In more and more places in the Netherlands, you can take off your shoes and socks for a barefoot walk. Not on the beach, but in the middle of the forest, among the flowers or even through water. This way you are one with nature and feel everything beneath you. Barefoot paths are there for young and old and each path is different.

In this blog you'll discover seven of the most fun barefoot paths in the Netherlands; including location, special features and ticket information.

What exactly is a barefoot path?

A barefoot path is a route specially designed to walk without shoes. Along the way you encounter all kinds of surfaces: from grass and sand to stones, tree trunks, mud and water. Sometimes there are also play elements, like obstacles or tasks. It's an active way to be outside and to feel nature with your feet.
