What will you learn?

(Robotics) The Robotics program focuses on the integration of technology, engineering and computer science to design and develop robots and automated systems. Students learn about the fundamentals of robotics, including mechanical and electronic engineering, artificial intelligence and data analysis. The program provides a theoretical foundation and practical experience in creating robots that can function in various environments, from industrial applications to medical deployment. Students develop skills in programming, modeling and applying sensor technologies. Attention is also paid to ethical considerations and the impact of robotics on society. The program prepares students for the challenges of rapidly developing technologies in robotics.

Required Education

For HBO Robotics you need at least a HAVO diploma, VWO diploma or MBO-4 diploma. The elective profile Nature and Technology (N&T) fits best with this program, because you will have had the most technical subjects there. Mathematics B and physics are usually mandatory subjects for admission, and chemistry is often recommended due to the technical focus. If you don't have a regular diploma, you can also be admitted to the program through a 21+ test or colloquium doctum.
