(Dierenarts ) As a Veterinarian, you play a crucial role in the healthcare and welfare of animals. You are responsible for diagnosing, treating and preventing diseases and injuries in both pets and farm animals. In this role, you work in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital, where you collaborate with a team of veterinarians, paraveterinarians and administrative staff. Every day is different; you may perform surgeries, give vaccinations, conduct medical examinations or advise owners on caring for their animals.
