MDL Doctor

(MDL Arts) As an MDL physician (Gastroenterology physician), you treat patients with disorders of the digestive system, liver, and bile ducts. You perform endoscopic examinations such as gastroscopies and colonoscopies, using advanced endoscopic techniques for both diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. In addition to your outpatient clinic and endoscopy work, you collaborate closely with surgeons, oncologists, and radiologists in multidisciplinary teams to coordinate complex patient care. You stay current with new developments in gastroenterology and often train less experienced colleagues in endoscopic procedures.
