Required Education

For admission to the AD Sales and Account Management program, you need at least an MBO level 4 diploma, preferably in a commercial field such as Commerce, Marketing, or Management. With a HAVO diploma you are also admitted, where the Culture & Society (C&M) or Economics & Society (E&M) profile best aligns with the program due to the focus on economics, mathematics, and social sciences that are essential for sales techniques and market analysis. Subjects such as economics, mathematics, Dutch, and possibly a modern foreign language are particularly relevant because you work extensively with numbers, communication, and international clients. Most universities of applied sciences do not have additional admission requirements or entrance exams, but some institutions do require a motivation letter in which you explain your commercial interest and communication skills. As alternative admission, you can enroll directly with a VWO diploma, and adults without the proper prior education can often be admitted through an entrance exam or 21+ test after demonstrating relevant work experience in sales or commerce.
